Cudicini has lofty ambitions for Spurs as keeper gets set for a run in the side

Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini insists the ambition at White Hart Lane is no different to when he was playing under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea. Spurs are top of the Barclays Premier League following victories against Liverpool, Hull and West Ham, with Harry Redknapp's men outsiders to break into the traditional top four. Cudicini, who is set for a run in Redknapp's team following an injury to Heurelho Gomes, saw a winning mentality at Stamford Bridge and feels there is no limit to what his current club can achieve. He said: 'The quality is there, definitely. The players are very good players. It's different to the situation at Chelsea and the way it happened there so you can't really say we should take their example. 'But we want the same thing - that's for sure, that's what everyone here is hoping for. 'We don't put any limit to what this team can achieve. I think we are doing very well and we want that to carry on.' The victory at White Hart Lane means Spurs have enjoyed their best start since the 1961 season when they won the double. Next is a trip to Doncaster in the Carling Cup and then a clash against newly promoted Birmingham, with expectations set to rise if they win those games. 'We'll keep working hard and you never know,' said striker Jermain Defoe, who has scored six goals in four games for club and country this season. Meanwhile, Honduras defender Osman Chavez has expressed an interest in joining compatriot Wilson Palacios at Spurs. The 25-year-old said: 'Wilson has helped me a lot with his recommendation and having his support in the training sessions will be important. 'Who would not like to play with Wilson and for a team like Tottenham?' Roman Pavlyuchenko has been suggested as a target for Roma, according to reports in Italy.
