Crouch - January a big month for Spurs

Peter Crouch has highlighted Tottenham's packed January schedule as vital to their Champions League challenge. Spurs have five matches in the space of a fortnight, including a rearranged Barclays Premier League clash with struggling Liverpool. Harry Redknapp's troops sit fifth in the table, one point behind Manchester City after a run of four wins and a draw in their last five games. Crouch told the club's official website: "If we continue to win, we'll be right in amongst it at the end of the season. "Manchester City won quite convincingly (4-1 against Blackburn) the other night and are looking quite strong now. Liverpool will always be there or thereabouts, Aston Villa as well, so we've got to keep putting pressure on these teams." "This is an important run of games," Crouch added. "There are no easy games there by any means - there never is - but there are home matches that we can pick up maximum points in and really push ourselves up the league."
