Crouch - It's Up To us Now

Peter Crouch believes Spurs are in pole position for fourth spot in the Premier League after Man City and Aston Villa dropped home points this week. With Spurs in FA cup replay action, Man City could have moved into fourth place on Wednesday night but were beaten 2-0 at home by Everton whilst Villa were held 1-1 by Sunderland on the same night. Now, ahead of the home game against one of his former club's Portsmouth, Crouch believes that Spurs now have a great chance of gaining the elite fourth spot which guarantees Champions League qualification. "April could be our defining month," he said. "We've some big games coming up but Man City losing their game in hand is obviously a big boost. "Even in the dressing room after the quarter-final replay against Fulham, the players were buzzing when they heard Villa had dropped points and City had lost. "But it's still down to us, we need to get the points on the board starting with Portsmouth on Saturday in what will be a rehearsal for Wembley. "I feel for Portsmouth with the plight they're in - but there's no sentiment in football."
