Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka insists he has no plans to quit the club after losing his place in the side.[LNB] The former Manchester City star is close to getting back to full fitness after suffering the effects of playing regularly for a number of years.[LNB]But even though he could struggle to get back into Harry Redknapp's side, Corluka maintains he is not thinking of moving on.[LNB]"After playing regularly for a few years, my body started to feel that and I got a series of injuries," he told Sportske Novosti. "After the last national team action I returned to England injured and I couldn't train for two-and-a-half weeks, and that is why I understand that I don't have a place in the first team.[LNB]"I don't complain. The manager has his own vision and he doesn't talk about that with us players.[LNB]"We just have to train very hard and whoever is not playing has to wait for his chance.[LNB]"I'm waiting for my chance and I'm trying to stay in the best shape so I won't have any problems when the manager does put me in the team.[LNB]"Tottenham is a very big club which plays in a lot of serious competitions, so everybody in the team is very important.[LNB]"In seasons before this one I was playing regularly and others were sitting on the bench, but now it is my turn. But I don't have any problems, I'm happy to wait. I'm not thinking about switching clubs."[LNB]Meanwhile, England striker Peter Crouch knew it was only a matter of time before Tottenham started to win convincingly.[LNB]Crouch scored his first league goal of the season in their 4-2 success over Blackburn at White Hart Lane on Saturday.[LNB]Gareth Bale opened the scoring in the first half, Roman Pavlyuchenko headed home the second after missing a penalty to make it 2-0 before half-time, Crouch slid home the third and Bale notched his second of the game in the 75th minute.[LNB]Rovers reduced arrears with two late goals but Crouch was full of pride over the way Spurs played.[LNB]"We played some great stuff and it was always a matter of time before we beat a team convincingly with the way we've been playing," said Crouch, who has now joined up with the England squad for Wednesday's international friendly against France.[LNB]"We've been passing the ball about fantastically well, creating chances and the goals went in this time, so that was pleasing.[LNB]"Blackburn had to change their system after half an hour and that was down to how we were playing.[LNB]"My goal was important, but I'm more interested with the result first and foremost. I think it was a great win, we played fantastically well and fully deserved the three points."
