Copenhagen v Chelsea and Blackpool v Tottenham live

[LNB]21.54: For Chelsea, they already look through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after a throughly convincing victory in Denmark.[LNB]Copenhagen would need to win by two goals at Stamford Bridge to stand a chance to progress and on the evidence of tonight, that looks highly unlikely.[LNB]21.52: Full-time: Blackpool 3-1 Tottenham[LNB]Well, this is a stunning finish but it's far too late.[LNB]Roman Pavlyuchenko rifles one in from outside the box which perhaps gives the visitors a goal they at least deserve but nothing more.[LNB]21.50: GOAL! Blackpool 3-1 TOTTENHAM[LNB]21.45: Spurs, often so good in attack have had so many chances to score tonight but have blown every one of them.[LNB]They could play all night and not grab a goal, they are in desperate need of a goal scorer in that team.[LNB]21.42: It's full-time in France as well where Real Madrid have secured a draw at Lyon. Advantage Spaniards.[LNB]Interesting to note all four goals in the Champions League tonight have been scored by Frenchman.[LNB] I'm back: Brett Ormerod sealed victory for the hosts with his first Premier League goal in seven years[LNB]21.39: GOAL! BLACKPOOL 3-0 Tottenham[LNB]This one is against the run of play but the game is all about goals and Blackpool have been so much better at converting their chances this evening.[LNB]This one is about as scrappy as they get but Seasiders fans won't care and neither will Brett Ormerod who makes all three points safe for the home side.[LNB]21.37: Full-time: Copenhagen 0-2 Chelsea[LNB]21.35: The Torres goalless streak continues as he is replaced by Salomon Kalou. To be fair to the Spaniard he has put in a decent performance.[LNB]21.33: Kenneth Zahore is on for Gronkjaer where there will be three minutes added on.[LNB]21.32: Peter Crouch is on for Bassong as Spurs go for broke moments after Baptiste once again clears off the line from Luka Modric.[LNB]21.30: Spurs go close again through Pavlyuchenko, but his bullet header is superbly stopped once again by Kingson.[LNB]21.28: Yuri Zhirkov has been warming up relentlessly on the touchline for the past five minutes and is finally on to replace Malouda.[LNB]The Frenchman though is booked for time wasting as he leaves the pitch, which is a pretty farcical decision to me.[LNB]21.26: Changes for Copenhagen too, with Pierre Bengtsson replacing Oscar Wendt.[LNB]In Lyon, the home side have equalised through Bafetimbi Gomis.[LNB]21.23: Blackpool have sent on all three of their subs already with Keith Southern, Brett Ormerod and Matt Phillips on for Ludovic Sylvestre, Kornilenko and Beattie respectively.[LNB]Spurs send on Niko Kranjcar for Pienaar but look no closer to scoring.[LNB]21.20: Torres again goes close and although this time his shot beats Wiland, it lacks the pace to cross the line allowing Copenhagen to clear comfortably.[LNB] No way through: Tottenham's Roman Pavlyuchenko is closed down from all angles by the Blackpool defence[LNB]21.18: Good chances for a much improved Spurs at Bloomfield Road. Aaron Lennon first of all sets up Pienaar who should have done better than fire wide.[LNB]Before the English winger then tees up Roman Pavlyuchenko whose header forces a good save from Richard Kingson.[LNB]21.16: No hat-trick tonight for Anelka as he is replaced by Didier Drogba.[LNB]21.14: No danger from the set-piece though as Lampard smacks the ball over the bar.[LNB]21.13: It gets worse for the home side, Pospech is booked for a clumsy challenge on Torres just outside the box and he will now miss the second-leg.[LNB]21.10: Well 43 seconds, but you get my point.[LNB]Copenhagen have a good shout for a penalty when Gronkjaer goes down under an Ivanovic challenge, but he is flagged for offside first. Just as well because it was a stonewall penalty.[LNB]21.09: An opening goal in France. Karim Benzema has been on the pitch for roughly 10 seconds before he puts Real Madrid in front at Lyon.[LNB]21.06: Back underway at Bloomfield Road. Spurs have made a change with Jermaine Jenas replacing Wilson Palacios.[LNB]21.04: If it stays like this you have got to feel it's job done for Chelsea. The home side are hardly causing them any problems and just seem to lack the genuine class to challenge their Premier League opponents.[LNB]21.01: Torres comes mighty close to his first Blues goal as he twists and turns three defenders in the penalty area. His low strike after is brilliantly saved by Wiland who dives low to his bottom right-hand corner to keep the ball out.[LNB]20.59: Credit to Copenhagen, they have tried to attack Chelsea this half and despite conceding the second goal continue to press.[LNB] In his stride: Anelka scores his second goal of the night[LNB]20.56: GOAL! Copenhagen 0-2 CHELSEA[LNB]This is all about Frank Lampard, without looking up he knows Nicolas Anelka is making a run in the box, and his through ball is perfect for the Frenchman who fires low across goal to double the Blues' lead.[LNB]20.53: He is really starting to annoy me N'Doye, he is fairly challenged for the ball by Branislav Ivanovic in the box, but still elects to go down like he has been shot.[LNB]20.51: Petr Cech seems very concerned with the home fans behind the goal after what looks like a cigarette lighter is thrown on to the pitch.[LNB]He doesn't alert the officials though suggesting he isn't too bothered by their behaviour yet.[LNB]20.49: Back underway in Copenhagen where the hosts have made a change, bringing on Martin Vingaard for Cesar Santin.[LNB]20.47: Half-time: Blackpool 2-0 Tottenham[LNB] In a spin: Spurs went two goals down after DJ Campbell expertly finished a Blackpool counter attack[LNB]20.45: GOAL! BLACKPOOL 2-0 Tottenham[LNB]Moments after Defoe has another shot cleared off the line by Alex Baptiste, the Seasiders counter and DJ Campbell latches on to James Betatie's pass to bury past Gomes. Shouts for offside from the visitors but he looks onside to me.[LNB]20.42: It's half-time in the other Champions League match between Lyon and Real Madrid, where it stands 0-0. As you can imagine not too much happening there.[LNB]20.39: Honestly, that was pretty easy for Chelsea. Anelka and Torres look like they are finally getting going as a partnership while the hosts look anonymous in attack.[LNB]N'Doye looks more likely to get sent-off than score. How his antics have not already seen him go in to the referee's note book is beyond me.[LNB] Denied: Despite a bright first-half, Torres could not find the back of the net[LNB]20.36: Superb defending from Cathcart, Jermain Defoe looks to have scored his first Premier League goal of the season until the defender intervenes by heading on to his own bar. this game finally starting to take off.[LNB]20.34: Chances at both ends at Bloomfield Road. Steven Pienaar's shot is well blocked by Craig Cathcart, while moments before Kornilenko headed just wide.[LNB]20.32: Half-time: Copenhagen 0-1 Chelsea[LNB]20.30: N'Doye is really in the wars this evening. Malouda accidentally trips over him on the floor but he does seem to over react as he withers in pain on the deck.[LNB]He goes off, to save face for a couple of seconds before jogging back on like nothing happened.[LNB]20.27: Tottenham fans, OptaJoe provides you hope:[LNB]20 - Tottenham have recouped 20 points from losing positions this season, more than any other team in the Premier League. N'Doye loses out to Ramires in midfield but he falls over taking the Brazilian with him.[LNB]It looked much easier for him to stay on his feet to me. Both defences struggle to keep clean sheets over the course of 45 minutes let alone a full game.[LNB]20.12: Free-kick for Copenhagen 35 yards out, set-pieces could be their best chances in this tie. But the chipped ball in the box is headed away by Torres, he is really putting in a shift so far.[LNB]20.11: This is a good spell for the visitors. Florent Malouda from the left chips in a high ball in to the penalty box that Anelka attacks and heads wide...well wide it must be added.[LNB]20.08: That is more like it from Torres. He runs at the defence with confidence forcing them to back-off and back-off until eight yards out his low shot is well saved by Wiland.[LNB]20.06: Top refereeing that, John Terry appears to trip a counter attacking Dame N'Doye, but the official just tells the striker to get up. Copenhagen 0-1 CHELSEA[LNB]It's like the Claudio Ranieri days all over again as Gronkjaer plays a big role in setting up Chelsea.[LNB]He gives the ball away to Nicolas Anelka 30 yards out, who takes his invitation with no hesitation, running in to the penalty area and firing low past Wiland.[LNB]20.01: It's not all comfortable for Chelsea though, the home side apply their first bit of pressure which sees Zdenek Pospech's effort from inside the box blocked before the visitors clear. Looked to be heading for the bottom corner that.[LNB]20.00: Teams on their way out at Bloomfield Road.[LNB]19.59: Fantastic from Torres, he plays a lovely floating ball over the top for Anelka and after a good first touch sees his shot blocked out for a corner.[LNB]19.56: From that free-kick 40 yards out, Ramires' mis-hit falls for Torres on the right side of the goal but Johan Wiland is quick out of his goal to fumble the Spaniard at his feet.[LNB]19.55: First booking for Copenhagen, after Mathias Jorgensen is booked for bundling over Fernando Torres.[LNB]19.52: Blackpool boss Ian Holloway hands a debut to Belarus striker Sergei Kornilenko for the Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham at Bloomfield Road.[LNB]Holloway makes four changes from the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, with Kornilenko and fellow January recruit James Beattie named in the Seasiders' attack in place of Marlon Harewood and Luke Varney, neither of whom feature in the squad.[LNB]Ludovic Sylvestre and Neal Eardley come into the first XI as well to replace the injured Elliot Grandin and benched David Carney.[LNB]Spurs manager Harry Redknapp also makes four adjustments to his side following last week's Champions League victory over AC Milan, bringing in Sebastien Bassong and Luka Modric for injured pair Vedran Corluka and Rafael van der Vaart.[LNB]Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko come in to lead the line as Peter Crouch, the match-winner in the San Siro, and Sandro drop to the bench.[LNB]19.49: Quite a fast paced start to this game, mind you given the cold conditions, plenty of players are keen to zip about the pitch early on.[LNB]19.46: Chelsea in their black strip get us underway.[LNB]19.44: Teams are out. It's a very chilly night in Copenhagen.[LNB]19.41: Pressure on all the players of course but especially Torres. It's not just that he isn't scoring, he is playing worse than he did even when he was at Liverpool this season...and that is saying something.[LNB]19.38: And of course, Chelsea old boy Jesper Gronkjaer starts for Copenhagen. Some would argue if it wasn't him for him Chelsea would not even be in the Premier League.[LNB]His goal against Liverpool on the final day of the 2003 season ensured Champions League qualification for the cash strapped club that ended up attracting the interest of Roman Abramovich.[LNB]The rest as they say, is history.[LNB]19.35: To be fair to Copenhagen, it may appear I have wrote them off as minnows but they have had some good results this season, including a 1-1 draw at home to Barcelona. When this tie was drawn out the hat at one of UEFA's glitzy venues, it was thought that Chelsea had earned the kindest draw by far and effectively had a bye to the quarter-finals.[LNB]This may still be the case but I am not half as confident as I was a few weeks ago that the Blues would easily cast aside this Danish team.[LNB]Such is the Premier League champions' recent performances I'm slightly concerned they may end up going back to Stamford Bridge with a deficit.
