ournemouth manager Eddie Howe cannot wait to test his side against Tottenham Hotspur in their opening pre-season fixture.[LNB] The Cherries face Harry Redknapp's multi-talented team at Dean Court on Saturday as they prepare for the new challenge of League One which begins with a tough trip to Charlton on August 7th.[LNB]Howe says his side need to be fully prepared for the kick-off and sees a game against a big side as the perfect way to achieve this.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "We have traditionally always had good pre-season games and that can can only be good as you test yourselves against players you see on TV week in week out and it's all about getting ourselves in the best possible shape for Charlton away."[LNB]"Tottenham have got an outstanding squad, full of internationals. The players who didn't go to the World Cup are still very much top quality and Harry has done a great job in assembling such a great squad. I'm sure they can go on and have another great season like last time when they were outstanding. To break into the top four of the Premier League is massive and they will be on a high from that.[LNB]"It's going to be an entertaining game on Saturday and one we are all looking forward to."
