Chelsea host Tottenham with Leicester waiting for title news

Tottenham on Monday needed a first win at Chelsea in 26 years to have any hope of denying Leicester the Premier League title.

Son Heung-min replaced the suspended Dele Alli in the only change for Tottenham following last Monday's draw with West Brom, as Eric Dier recovered from a blow to the head.

John Terry and Gary Cahill returned for Chelsea, with Eden Hazard and Baba Rahman dropping out following the win at Bournemouth.

Spurs' most recent win at Stamford Bridge was in 1990, when Gary Lineker scored the winner.

Leicester fan Lineker, now a television presented, has vowed to fulfil his pledge of hosting Match of the Day in his underwear if the Foxes beat Spurs to the title.

The whereabouts of Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri remained unknown, though.

He said on Sunday he would be flying back from a lunch date with his mother in Italy during the game, but reports surfaced on Monday that he would be arriving back in England - and possibly at his old club Chelsea - before kick-off.
