Marouane Chamakh has confirmed his intention to leave Bordeaux at the end of the season if the club win the Ligue 1 title. The Moroccan striker has been tipped to move to the Premier League, with Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur linked with bids. He has been keen to put discussions about his future on hold during Bordeaux's battle to beat Marseille to the domestic crown. However, speaking after Saturday's 3-2 win over Le Mans, Chamakh revealed he will move on in the summer if Bordeaux hang on to top spot. "I have said it and I still confirm it," he told Canal Plus. "It is something I envisage if I end up as champion with my club. "I have experienced some great things, and some not so good things, here. "I have been a professional at Bordeaux for seven years. It would be a great way finish things off." Chamakh has scored 12 goals in Ligue 1 this season to help Bordeaux open up a three-point gap at the top with two matches to play, although Marseille do have a game in hand.
