Julian de Guzman has opened the door for Tottenham to clinch his signature at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to White Hart Lane after earning rave reviews for Deportivo La Coruna.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keen to strengthen his squad during the summer and add some competition in the midfield area.

The Canada international admits he would love the chance to play in the Barclays Premier League and believes he can handle the pressures of playing in England.

'The (Premier) League is one of the best in the world and if something interesting comes along I will have to consider it,' said De Guzman. ' I cannot rule anything out.

'My agent is working on this and I know there are clubs who have been asking about me, but we have nothing concrete on the table.

'I know they (Tottenham) have been watching me in games, but I have not spoken with anyone. I am just going to give everything in the final part of the season.'
