Can Spurs see the light at the end of the tunnel?

So here we are. Five games to go and can we see the start of Spurs finally getting over their Champions League phobia that Spurs’ fans have to go through at the end of each season.

With a dramatic but exceptional win against Man City on Sunday and the some say great tactical change by AVB, are we witnessing Spurs pushing forward and claiming the spot in the top 4 that they finally deserve? With the fight and determination that we saw on Sunday, isn’t it hard to understand why this wasn’t produced earlier in the season and against teams that we are so capable of beating but yet we struggle?

The next game against Wigan will show if the Spurs are going to qualify. Then they have to be beating teams that are fighting for their lives in the Premier League and we all know they are the hardest games to win. I was sat on Sunday watching the game and what I watched was almost a completely different team from any other season at this time of the year. Yes we had Bale back and some still are saying Spurs are a one man team. But then again look at Real Madrid they have Ronaldo, Barcelona have Messi. So are Spurs not in there right to hear others say “Spurs have Bale?” Does that then mean Spurs are moving up in to Premier League elite? I think time will tell on that one and how much of a transfer fund AVB gets at the end of the season., only this will show the clubs determination to succeed and finally challenge for the League.

As a fan I can only hope that they finish the season strongly and kick on a show the league we are not the nearly men and finally show the red side of North London who are the top team, and qualify for the Champions League. So come on Mr Levy finally show the fans you mean business and invest in your manager and show the league we really do want to win it.
