Button back with Spurs

On-loan Crewe keeper David Button has been recalled by Tottenham. The 20-year-old has returned to White Hart Lane after first-choice stopper Heurelho Gomes suffered an injury in Spurs` Premier League victory at Hull on Wednesday night. Button, who signed a six-month loan deal with Alex at the end of July, made his debut for the club on the opening day of the League Two season against Dagenham. He has kept two clean sheets in his three appearances after missing the Carling Cup tie against Blackpool with a slight knee injury. Button`s recall means that Steve Collis, who last week was given permission to find another club, will come back into contention for the home game against Hereford on Saturday.
