Tottenham's talented teenager John Bostock has become embroiled in abizarre row with the club after his dad telephoned a national radiostation to hit back at manager Harry Redknapp.[LNB]Spurs boss Redknapp questioned the player's attitude and commmitment earlier this week when it emerged League One side Brentford had opted out of extending Bostock's loan.[LNB]But dad Michael responded aangrilly to Redknapp's claim and told Adrian Durham and Ray Parlour live on talkSport that, in fact, his initial period in west London had been a success. I'm really shocked to hear that his loan spell was not successful.[LNB]'John has played his part in helping Brentford get to where they are. He is a capable kid - well capable at Championship level - although he may not be ready for the Premier League.[LNB]'I would like to think he will be a footballer at some level, who knows, but he is young. He has gone back to Tottenham, that's the club where he is at and he will get his head down and work hard again.'[LNB]It is the second time already in his young career that Bostock has courted controversy. He left Crystal Palace under a storm cloud  two years ago with Eagles chairman Simon Jordan lambasting both Bostock senior and junior for their handling of the move to White Hart Lane.[LNB]The player has struggled to make any impact at Spurs despite arriving with a tag of one of Britain's most promising players.  [LNB] EXCLUSIVE: Cash never drove my desire to join Spurs, says wonderkid John BostockSpurs starlet John Bostock plays it cool after debut double for BrentfordMeet John Bostock, aged 15, the boy Barcelona can't buyLEO'S LONDON: Spurs chief Daniel Levy takes huge pay cut - too bad he shelled out £2m to get rid of Juande Ramos and consigned John Bostock to League One by axing reservesBostock continues to rise as Tottenham prodigy scores againTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
