John Bostock today completed his season-long loan move to Hull after signing a contract extension with Tottenham until 2013.[LNB] The 18-year-old midfielder, who became Spurs' youngest ever player when he made his debut two years ago, has been unable to hold down a place in the first-team squad.[LNB]Hull had been trying for some days to wrap up a deal for the England Under-19 star but were prevented from doing so due to what is thought to have been a Premier League probe into their finances.[LNB]It is unclear whether Bostock will be registered in time to make his debut in City's npower Championship opener against Swansea tomorrow.[LNB]Last week saw the teenager vent his frustration at the lack of top-flight opportunities for young English players.[LNB]He also admitted he was ready to go back out on loan after spending almost three months at Brentford last season.[LNB]The Bees opted against extending the deal, prompting Spurs boss Harry Redknapp to question the youngster's attitude.[LNB]Bostock's father hit back at Redknapp, not the first time controversy has surrounded a player heralded as one of the most gifted of his generation.[LNB]His move to Spurs from Crystal Palace two years ago proved particularly acrimonious.[LNB]The clubs were unable to agree a fee, which was eventually set by a tribunal, much to former Palace chairman Simon Jordan's disgust.
