Boateng completes Pompey move

Kevin-Prince Boateng has completed his move from Tottenham to Portsmouth on a three-year deal.[LNB] German midfielder Boateng was expected to join Pompey after Spurs made it clear the 22-year-old - who has struggled to hold down a first-team place at White Hart Lane - was available.[LNB] The clubs were reported to have agreed a few of around £4million, and Portsmouth confirmed on their official website that the deal has gone through late on Friday afternoon.[LNB] Pompey boss Paul Hart told www.portsmouthfc.co.uk: "Kevin's a good player, and I'm thrilled that we've managed to get him here.[LNB] "He's a young player who, like all players we've brought in, has got something to prove.[LNB] "He's got tremendous ability, and we hope we can provide the environment to channel that."
