Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell insists the club have had no contact from Tottenham for Scott Brown. Spurs have been linked with a move for the Scottish international before the transfer window closes. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp confirmed his liking for Brown last weekend, but denied any bid had been tabled for the midfielder. Redknapp is thought to be flying into Glasgow for UEFA Celtic's Champions League clash with Arsenal on Tuesday, fuelling speculation of an imminent move by the North London club for Brown. However, Lawwell says there been no enquiry from Spurs, but admitted there was some interest from English clubs in reported Hull City target Andreas Hinkel. "We have had no contact with Spurs at all," Lawwell told Sky Sports News. "I didn't know Harry was coming to the game. I hope he enjoys the game. "We know there is a little bit of interest from down south in Andreas, but that's all we have. It is speculation."
