[LNB]Back in the groove: Spurs winger Bentley[LNB]Now the Spurs boss needs to coax another top performance out of Bentley against Aston Villa and a winger in Stewart Downing whom Redknapp dearly wanted to sign himself. [LNB]Redknapp said: 'Possibly a lot of other managers wouldn't have shown the patience I have with him. If I'd been really hard on him, I probably would have isolated him, but I didn't.[LNB] 'He knows he wasn't doing what he should have been doing. But deep down I like him. [LNB]'I had to sit him down and he accepted his attitude wasn't right. He was finding it hard to pull himself out of it because he wasn't playing. [LNB]'I did understand when he wasn't in the team he couldn't see light at the end of the tunnel. Now he's come back with three smashing games and wants to be in the team.' [LNB]Redknapp will tell Bentley he has to keep up his form against Villa today, especially with Aaron Lennon nearly fit to return. [LNB]The Spurs boss added: 'It's only three games. You hope David can keep on doing well, that his attitude stays right and he keeps playing as he is.'[LNB]  Aston Villa boss O'Neill warns his stars: We must not slip up against SpursTOTTENHAM v Aston Villa: Eidur Gudjohnsen poised to make Spurs debutSpurs line up Ghana stopper George Owu as No 2 to Heurelho GomesTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
