Bent set for Spurs exit

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that England striker Darren Bent wants to leave the club. With Peter Crouch set to move to White Hart Lane, Bent's opportunities are set to become even more limited and Redknapp accepts that his time in north London could be at an end. "Darren is looking to go but it's up to people to make the offer that we want," Redknapp said. Bent has endured a tough time with Spurs and has failed to fulfil the potential he showed at Charlton, but Redknapp is still confident in the 25-year-old's ability. "Nobody misses chances deliberately," he continued. "He tucked some great chances away in pre-season and he will always score goals. He's a good player but I just want some balance and Crouchy would give us something different." Leeds youngster Fabian Delph is another on Tottenham's radar with Redknapp adding: "He's a terrific young player but there will be a few clubs in for him."
