Darren Bent has been called into the England squad for Wednesday's 2010 World Cup qualifier with Ukraine at Wembley.[LNB] England coach Fabio Capello has summoned for the Tottenham striker after Emile Heskey, Carlton Cole and Peter Crouch all picked up injuries in the 4-0 friendly win over Slovakia.[LNB]Heskey was substituted soon after opening the scoring and his replacement Cole was also forced off before half-time through injury.[LNB]Crouch also failed to last the 90 minutes and Capello has opted to draft Bent into the squad, ahead of Michael Owen and Kevin Davies.[LNB]Speaking after the game regarding who would be called up as cover, Capello said: "Michael Owen played 20 minutes in his last game, it is not enough.[LNB]"And it would not be Kevin Davies either."[LNB]Bent appeared as a substitute in the friendly win over Germany last November and is likely to be on the bench for the visit of Ukraine.[LNB]West Ham United forward Cole has been ruled out of the game, but Capello hopes Heskey and Crouch will be fit for selection.[LNB]Capello added: "Carlton Cole will not be able to play on Wednesday. Crouch will be OK I think. And Heskey will have a scan tomorrow." [LNB]
