Manchester City forward Craig Bellamy is reportedly set to join his hometown club Cardiff on a shock six-month loan deal.[LNB] Bellamy does not have a future at Eastlands and it had been expected he would move to Tottenham, with Harry Redknapp a known admirer of the Welshman.[LNB]However, Redknapp admitted on Sunday that a loan to White Hart Lane was out of the question, citing Fulham as the favourites to get him and it has since emerged that it is in fact Cardiff looking set to win the race for the 31-year-old.[LNB]He will reportedly be unveiled by the Championship outfit on a six-month loan tomorrow and be made captain by Bluebirds boss Dave Jones.[LNB]Redknapp said earlier: "He's never going to come here on loan.[LNB]"He'll go somewhere and I would think Fulham are favourites now. If we want him, we will have to put up the money to sign him."[LNB]Jones, meawnhile, admitted it would be a dream to sign Bellamy, saying: "You can dream about things but miracles take a little bit longer. [LNB]"If it happens, it would be fantastic and we would all love him to be here but there are bigger fish for him."
