Belhadj welcomes Spurs link

Portsmouth full-back Nadir Belhadj would welcome a move to Tottenham should Harry Redknapp make his interest known. The Algeria international was signed by Redknapp during his spell in charge at Fratton Park and is one of a number of players eager to escape the club this summer. Portsmouth have suffered a mass exodus this close-season which has seen star players Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson sold, with a string of others following them out of the exit door. Belhadj could be next to leave and with speculation linking him with a move to London the 27-year-old admits working with Redknapp again is a temptation. "All I know is that Redknapp was behind me coming to Portsmouth and that he has confidence in my qualities," he told The Portsmouth News. "I couldn't refuse an offer from Tottenham, especially if it's coming from Redknapp."
