Bassong - We'll bounce back

Sebastien Bassong is confident Tottenham will bounce back quickly from Saturday's defeat to Manchester United, starting at Stamford Bridge this weekend. Spurs could not face a trickier game to put last week's first defeat of the season behind them, as Chelsea are next up in West London. Bassong has enjoyed a fine start to his career at White Hart Lane and is confident Harry Redknapp's side, who have taken 12 points from five games so far, will prove their credentials at Chelsea. "We have to show a good reaction at Stamford Bridge, we have a good squad, a good spirit and that's what we intend to do," the Cameroon international said. Spurs midfielder Niko Kranjcar, after making his debut for the club at the weekend, said: "Everyone is talking about the top four but we'll take each game as it comes and hopefully we'll achieve that towards the end of the season. "We'll see at the end of the season. One game doesn't tell everything, we have to keep working hard and believing in ourselves."
