Barcelona dealmaker Txiki Begiristain is said to be considering an offer from Tottenham after turning the Catalans into European champions. [LNB]The Nou Camp technical secretary was charged with rebuilding the side in 2003 after four unsuccessful seasons and oversaw a recruitment policy that brought the likes of Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Dani Alves. [LNB]With Laporta, he devised the 'virtuous circle' policy of combining headline-grabbing with investment and encouragement in bringing players through the club's academy.[LNB]The 45-year-old former Barca and Real Sociedad winger is understood to be keen on a move to England and has a good command of the language, but he is said to be in no rush to accept offers. [LNB]There were rumours earlier this year that Manchester City might be keen on his services after a growing relationship between the two clubs and the admiration of Eastlands chief executive Garry Cook in the way Barca operate. [LNB]Redknapp quit as Portsmouth boss in November 2004, shortly after voicing his displeasure at Velimir Zajec being brought in as director of football. [LNB]Spurs cleared the decks for the manager's arrival in October 2008 by firing director of football Damien Comolli along with Juande Ramos and chairman Daniel Levy has subsequently handled transfers in association with Redknapp.[LNB] Don't abuse Sol: Spurs warn their fans on treatment of Arsenal's CampbellTottenham ponder move for Guti: Real Madrid veteran available on a freeLennon could wing his way into Spurs side to face Portsmouth at WembleyArsenal star Van Persie closing in on shock return in north London derby Lennon boost for Tottenham and England as winger returns to trainingTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
