Bale out, Willian, Lamela and Coentrao in for Spurs?

Media speculation has been sent into a frenzy today as there seems to finally be movement in the saga of the season; Gareth Bale's potential sale to Real Madrid. Sky Italia are reporting that a £78 million move for Bale has been agreed with Fabio Coentrao moving the other way and valued at £15 million. If sources are correct, this would take the deal to £93million in a similar vein to the Zlatan Ibrahimovic transfer to Barcelona four years ago.

It is also being reported that Willian will move to Spurs from Anzhi Mackhakala along with Erik Lamela from Roma. The two wide men will cost around £60 million according to The Daily Mail and will directly replace Bale. Should these deals happen, Spurs will take their spending over the £100 million mark and move above Manchester City to the top of the spending charts this summer.

Andre Villas Boas is thought to be an admirer of Willian since his time at Chelsea. The move for Lamela could be due to new technical director Franco Baldini's links with his former club. Russian side Anzhi have recently encountered monetary troubles and have been forced into a fire sale. Yuri Zhirkov and Igor Denisov have already departed and it looks as if Willian could be next.
