Andre Villas-Boas claims he has not felt under pressure at Tottenham and insists he works in "perfect harmony" with Daniel Levy.

Villas-Boas got off to a stuttering start at Spurs as the club began their Premier League campaign without a win in three games. That run prompted questions over how long the Portuguese boss would last at White Hart Lane after he was sacked by Chelsea last season following just eight months in charge.

However, Spurs' 3-1 victory at Reading eased the heat on Villas-Boas ahead of their Europa League opener against Lazio on Thursday. The 34-year-old is adamant he does not feel under pressure and says he speaks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy daily over the club's progress.

"It is not true that in recent weeks I have felt the pressure of the club," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "On the contrary: I have a daily relationship with chairman Levy. "We survey the development of our programmes in perfect harmony." Asked by the Italian media ahead of Thursday's clash whether he would consider a career in Serie A, he added: "Now I feel great at Tottenham where I can work on a new project."
