Arsenal forward Robin van Persie hails Patrick Vieira

ROBIN van Persie has hailed Patrick Vieira as the real captain fantastic amidst reports that the former Gunners skipper is set for a return to north London.[LNB]Vieira is almost certain to leave Inter Milan this summer and had been mooted for a move to Arsenal?s nearest rivals Spurs, with Harry Redknapp revealing he would be interested in signing the France international.[LNB]But in a shock transfer twist, Arsene Wenger is rumoured to be lining up a move for Vieira, who left the Gunners for Juventus in 2005.[LNB] The midfielder?s name was chanted by Arsenal fans throughout last weekend?s Emirates Cup, while Wenger only added more fuel to the fire by refusing to rule out a move for the 33-year-old.[LNB]And van Persie, who was speaking at the launch of Arsenal?s charity of the year, the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children?s Charity, was quick to hail Vieira?s qualities. [LNB]The Arsenal forward said: ?I played with him for one year and he was fantastic. He is a natural leader and he was really helpful to me. [LNB]?If we go back to my first start in the Premier League, I was very nervous before the game and he came up and asked me how I was.[LNB]?He told me to just play how I train and that he will always be there to help me.
