Are Arsenal looking at Valencia's Guaita?

Arsenal look to be lining up a move for Valencias Vicente Guaita; as they look to bolster their goalkeeping options, according to the Express.

Arsenal's starting goalkeeper Woijeich Szczesny has severely tested Arsene Wengers patience at times; the unpredictable Pole was erratic in Arsenals 3-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa on Saturday. Back up keeper' and fellow countryman Lukas Fabianski is also a liability.

Guaitas position is under threat at Valencia, with Brazilian Diego Alves being preffered in nets for Valencias first game of the season. The 26 year old is said to be seeking new pastures to nail down a starting berth.

Arsenal representatives are in Spain to try and finalise a deal for the Spanish keeper. He would be Arsene Wengers second signing of the season after unknown Auxerre youngster Yano Sanogo. Arsenal fans have been crying out for new signings, but they need more than a new netminder if they are serious about ending their eight year trophyless spell.
