Adkins calls for improvements

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has warned his side to cut out the mistakes or forget about promotion. Saints' charge up the League One table came shuddering to a halt when they were beaten 3-2 at Carlisle on Saturday. They now face tough home games against promotion rivals Peterborough and Brighton and Adkins is looking for a vast improvement. "In football there is always another game and that's what we've got to build towards," he said. "We conceded three very, very poor goals. Individual mistakes cost us dearly and you can't do that if you want to perform at this level - and we want to perform at the next level."
