Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor made his international return on Tuesday in Togo's 1-0 win over Guinea Bissau that sealed their place in the next stage of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
The 27-year-old made his return after 18 months on the international sidelines as Togo sealed a 2-1 win on aggregate in their first round qualifier.
Adebayor called time on his international career in April 2010 saying he was still haunted by the memory of the gun attack on the Togo team bus ahead of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola which killed two members of the Togolese delegation.
