Aaron Lennon raises hopes of facing Real Madrid after sprightly Spurs training session
Aaron Lennon trained with his Tottenham team-mates on Tuesday morning, raising hopes that he will be fit for the Champions League return leg against Real Madrid.[LNB]Lennon withdrew from last week's quarter-final first leg in the Spanish capital at the last minute due to illness.[LNB]The England winger missed Saturday's 3-2 Barclays Premier League victory over Stoke with the same problem, but looked sprightly as he trained with the rest of the Spurs squad at their base at Chigwell, Essex.[LNB] Lively: Lennon trained on Tuesday as striker Jermain Defoe looked on[LNB]Steven Pienaar also trained with the squad and could be set for a return from the groin injury which has troubled him recently.[LNB]Neither Vedran Corluka (ankle) nor Niko Kranjcar (foot) took part in the session, though, and both are doubtful for Wednesday's return leg at White Hart Lane.[LNB]Tottenham face a huge task to make it through to the last four having lost the first leg 4-0 at the Bernabeu.
