Rosenior returns to Gulls

Torquay United have confirmed that Leroy Rosenior is returning to the club for a second spell as manager.

Rosenior managed the Gulls from July 2002 to January 2006 before enduring a difficult five-month spell at Brentford before his axing six months ago.

"The club is very low at the moment," he told Torquay's official website.

"Everything is going to stem from what happens on the pitch next season, I'm aware of that, and I'm not pretending it's going to be easy.

"The supporters know the way I like to see my team play and we'll be getting the best players available to come to Torquay.

"I'm obviously delighted to be back at Torquay. I know the club inside out and I'm confident that I can repeat the successful times, but I also recognise how tough it can be in this division.

"People have said the structure at Torquay is wrong, it's not wrong, it's just different. It worked before and it will work again.

"I obviously have my commitments with Sierra Leone, but that will not interfere with my position here at Torquay."
