Steve Adams was born in Plymouth in September, 1980. He started his career playing for Plymouth's youth team and rose through the ranks, making his debut in 1998. He was a member of the team that won the Third Division Championship in 2001/02 and the Division Two title in 2003/04. In his time at the club he made 176 appearances and scored 7goals.
