Kuffour can fly says Rosenior

Torquay United head coach Leroy Rosenior believes that Gulls forward Jo Kuffour can go on to make a huge impact, having found his form at Plainmoor.

The 22-year-old former Arsenal trainee came on to score the winner against Swansea City at the weekend, having only been left on the bench due to the effects of flu.

Rosenior told the Herald Express: "When he came to the club his confidence was shattered, but he's always been quick and strong. It's just been a case of how he uses it.

"He's a modest lad and, if he can get a bit of David Graham's attitude rubbing off on him, he can be whatever he wants to be.

"Jo only trained on Thursday and that made my mind up not to start with him.

"I wanted him to be sharp for 40 minutes. I thought he would cause them problems and it worked out for us."

Kuffour has scored three times in his last four games for the Gulls.
