Gulls sweat on Kuffour

Torquay United are sweating over the fitness of Jo Kuffour ahead of this weekend's game against Cheltenham Town as the player struggles with a hamstring injury.

The striker is undergoing intensive treatment after being substituted during Saturday's 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers, but boss Leroy Rosenior is hopeful the player will be fit for the Robins clash.

"Jo's under treatment at the moment and it's one of those wait-and-see scenarios," Rosenior revealed. "Hopefully he will be available for the weekend but we'll just have to wait."

Liam Rosenior and captain Craig Taylor picked up groin and ankle injuries respectively at the weekend, but are also expected to be passed fit.
