Gulls make another capture

Torquay United have continued the transfer window rebuilding of their beleaguered squad by signing left-back Mark Robinson on a contract until the end of the season.

Robinson, 25, has fallen out of favour at Stockport County this season and has agreed a short-term deal with the struggling Gulls after a successful trial spell.

The left-back impressed United boss Lubos Kubik during a three-day trial at the League Two basement side.

The Gulls have already signed Rossi Jarvis and Matthew Halliday on a month's loan from Norwich City and taken veteran goalkeeper Kevin Miller from Southampton on a similar temporary basis.
