Buckle targets play-off spot

Torquay boss Paul Buckle is confident his side will be involved in the play-off shake-up come the end of the season.Jake Robinson scored twice against his parent club as they thrashed Shrewsbury 5-0. New loan signing Gavin Tomlin set the ball rolling with a debut strike, and after Jermaine Grandison was sent-off for the Shrews, Robinson bagged a brace.Chris Zebroski got a fourth before Shrewsbury skipper Ian Sharps appeared to get the last touch to a Craig Stanley cross-cum-shot late on.The Gulls are now four points adrift of the play-off places, and Buckle said: "If we compete and play like that and are somewhere near the mark then we can get into the play offs."If we fall short like we did against Aldershot then we will get dragged back again. We know we have to be at our very best every game to get something in this division - but that what we were in this game."It was a great performance and to actually get five goals as well was the icing on the cake. We have threatened to do that on a number of occasions this season."
