Bluebirds boost Gulls ranks

Torquay United have brought in loan duo Nick McKoy and Jamal Easter from Cardiff City. Midfielder McKoy links up with the Gulls for the rest of the season, while striker Easter initially moves to Plainmoor for a month. Gulls assistant manager Richard Hancox told the Herald Express: "Nick is a big six-footer and looks like a strong lad. He trained with us for a full session, and we're delighted to have him here. "I've seen him before, but it's different when you see players close up. He looks the part and hopefully he'll do well. "With Jamal, I didn't know so much but he comes highly recommended. We've got him on a one-month loan and we'll see how it goes. "He's young and hopefully he'll score a couple of goals for us. His pace is his main attribute and he's scored goals wherever he's played."
