 Crawley : a Canadian Under-23 international , Simon joined the Imps at the start of the 2004/05 season on a years contract , this was extended by another year in July 2005 . The 22 year old keeper had been a junior at AFC Bournemouth before moving on to Barry Town and then Port Talbot . Simon also had a weeks trial with Premiership giants Newcastle at the end of the 2003/04 season .
