Bodin out for Gulls

Torquay will be without winger Billy Bodin when they say farewell to the Football League by hosting Wycombe.

The Welshman will undergo surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury which has troubled him for a few weeks and it could keep him out of action for up to six months.

And despite being without Bodin, boss Chris Hargreaves is set to name a strong line-up as they prepare for life in the Conference.

Despite having suffered relegation last weekend the Gulls have won three of their last four matches and attackers Ashley Yeoman and Shaquile Coulthirst are set to get the chance to link up once more.

Aaron Pierre will feature for Wycombe in their huge clash.

The Chairboys will head to Plainmoor, where they will need three points and hope Bristol Rovers or Northampton slip up to secure League Two survival, with their centre-back on board after he shrugged off a head injury picked up in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to the Pirates.

But manager Gareth Ainsworth will assess Paris Cowan-Hall's ankle injury and Dean Morgan's groin problem before kick-off in the hope the pair do not join Gary Doherty and Jon-Paul Pittman on the sidelines.

Matt McClure will hope to start once more after his impressive strike at Adams Park last weekend.
