No new worries for Gulls

Torquay have no fresh injury worries as they look to cut the 10-point gap between themselves and safety when they welcome Rochdale.

The Gulls put in a hard-working display against Fleetwood on Saturday only to lose 1-0 and find that the majority of sides around them picked up points to leave them cut adrift.

Despite their rock-bottom position boss Chris Hargreaves still believes they can pull off the great escape with 12 games remaining and he could shuffle his pack with a number of players ready to step in.

Danny Stevens, Jordan Chappell and Jayden Stockley are all pushing to start while Anthony O'Connor is available having overcome a shoulder problem.

Rochdale will be without Sky Bet League Two player of the month Scott Hogan and strike partner Ian Henderson.

Leading goalscorer Hogan sustained a knee injury in Friday night's goalless draw at Bury and Henderson sits out a one-game ban after being sent off for two yellow card offences.

George Donnelly replaced Hogan at Gigg Lane and could return to the starting line-up, while fellow forward George Porter is also in contention after making his first appearance for the club off the bench on Friday.

Midfielder Matty Lund remains doubtful due to the unspecified injury that has kept him out of the last two games as Dale bid to go top of the table.
