No new worries for Knill

Torquay boss Alan Knill has no fresh injury worries as his side look to record back-to-back wins when Hartlepool come to Plainmoor.

Martin Rice will continue in goal with Michael Poke no closer to a first-team return with his thigh problem and is now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

The Gulls head into this clash full of confidence and their manager looks set to name the same starting XI that picked up three points for the first time this season.

Knill was delighted with his strike partnership of Karl Hawley and Callum Ball in the 2-1 away win at Northampton and the pair look set to be given the nod to start once more.

Hartlepool are once again expected to be without injured skipper Antony Sweeney.

Sweeney has missed Pools' last two matches and continues to struggle with a calf problem, but new loan signing Matty Dolan made an impressive debut following his arrival from Middlesbrough last week and will continue in midfield.

Defender Michael Duckworth, a recent signing from Bradford Park Avenue, was another to catch the eye on his debut against Fleetwood and should resume at right-back, with Neil Austin at left-back.

Striker Nialle Rodney is hoping for his first start for the club after four substitute appearances and midfielder Andy Monkhouse is also pushing for a recall.
