Torquay wait on Labadie

Torquay midfielder Joss Labadie could be available to face Fleetwood despite a Football Association charge for misconduct hanging over his head.

The former Notts County man has served a two-match ban for picking up his 10th yellow card of the season against Accrington, but on Tuesday the FA charged him for an alleged biting incident during a game against Chesterfield.

If there are no further developments before kick-off against the Cod Army, then Labadie looks likely to be utilised by boss Chris Hargreaves as he looks for a vital three points.

United are also expected to hand a home debut to Enoch Showunmi, who arrived on loan from Notts County last week.

Striker Bobby Grant will again be missing as promotion-chasing Fleetwood seek a return to winning ways.

The loanee suffered a recurrence of his knee problem just over half-an-hour into his Cod Army debut following his arrival from Blackpool.

Midfielder Jeff Hughes is another absentee after he suffered a broken leg earlier in the new year while striker David Ball (ankle) is taking longer to recover from his injury.

The Cod Army, who have not won in their previous four fixtures, loaned winger Junior Brown to Sky Bet League One club Tranmere on Thursday.
