Poke out again

Torquay will be without goalkeeper Michael Poke against Cheltenham after he suffered another setback in his recovery.

Poke has been missing since the first week of pre-season and he is now undergoing shockwave treatment on his badly torn thigh muscle.

It means Martin Rice will once again be between the sticks at Plainmoor against a side who have also picked up just six points so far this season.

Daniel Sullivan stepped off the bench in last weekend's 1-0 loss at Rochdale and he looks set to be involved again having netted twice in a midweek reserve game.

Striker Jamie Cureton returns to the Cheltenham squad having recovered from the shoulder and calf injuries which have kept him out since the opening day.

Cureton's return to full fitness means fellow forward Steven Gillespie has gone back to Fleetwood. Gillespie's loan spell, which saw him play five times and score twice, was not extended.

James Wilson looks set to start again having joined on-loan from Bristol City but Troy Brown (hamstring) and Craig Braham-Barrett (ankle) both miss out again.
