Hargreaves to assess Gulls trio
Torquay manager Chris Hargreaves will check on three players before Accrington's visit.
Billy Bodin (ankle), Kevin Nicholson and Elliot Benyon (thigh) all missed the 3-1 loss at Chesterfield last weekend and the Gulls medical staff will assess the trio before kick off in Hargreaves' second home game since being appointed seven weeks ago.
But he will not include trialist James Harper in his squad. The former Doncaster midfielder played in a friendly against Plymouth reserves on Monday as he looks to earn a deal with the Gulls but Hargreaves confirmed he will not involve him against Stanley.
Bolton loanee Conor Wilkinson made his debut against the league leaders and is pushing for a start but Manchester United youngster Jack Rudge has returned to Old Trafford.
Defender Laurence Wilson will begin a three-match suspension for Accrington.
Wilson was dismissed against Bury on Tuesday, with James Beattie's side valiantly battling on with 10 men to claim a point in a 0-0 draw against one of the teams who are sitting below them.
They face another such team this week and may be without striker Kal Naismith, who has missed the last two fixtures with a hip problem.
Forward George Bowerman will be hoping for a recall to the starting line-up after Beattie elected to utilise Danny Webber instead against the Shakers.
