Marvin Morgan scored an 86th-minute winner to secure a 1-0 win for Aldershot against a Torquay side who were thwarted time and again by an outstanding display from goalkeeper Jamie Young. Morgan latched onto a throughball to slot home past advancing United keeper Scott Bevan after Aldershot had weathered a second-half storm from the home side, with Young excelling between the posts. Victory ended Aldershot's run of six matches without victory while United, top of the table at the start of the season, have now gone five matches without a league win. Young made superb second-half saves to deny Eunan O'Kane and Chris Zebroski as United tried to break the deadlock. While the visitors hit the woodwork in the 82nd minute when a cross-come-shot by Anthony Straker from the left came back off the angle.
