Torquay defender Chris Robertson has signed a new two-year deal. The 23-year-old, who can play at right-back or in the middle of the defence, has been at Plainmoor since March 2007 and is the club`s second longest-serving player behind Lee Mansell. Robertson has been an integral part of manager Paul Buckle's squad. He formed part of the defence which set a new club-record 691 minutes without conceding a goal as United finished last season on a high with an eight-match unbeaten streak.
