Mansell handed one-match ban

Torquay skipper Lee Mansell will be available to face his former club Oxford next week after the FA confirmed he will serve only a one-match ban following his red card against Gillingham. It was originally unclear if Mansell would have a two-match ban following his dismissal as he had already been shown his fifth yellow card of the season - an automatic one-match ban - before being sent off for a second bookable offence in the stoppage-time draw against the Gills. The FA have now cleared up the matter, confirming that as a result of a red card being shown, Mansell's two yellow cards would have been nullified. Mansell's tally of yellows for the season now returns to four and his one-match suspension will result in him missing the home game against Morecambe on Saturday, meaning he will be available to face the club he left in 2006 at the Kassam Stadium the following Tuesday.
