Macklin misses cup meeting
Torquay manager Paul Buckle will be without Lloyd Macklin for the FA Cup first-round trip to Mansfield.
Macklin was sent off for violent conduct in the 2-0 win over Oxford on Tuesday after kicking out at an opponent and will start his three-match ban.
Buckle will also be without Danny Senda, who is suffering from a hamstring injury, with on-loan Jon Oastler continuing in his unusual right-back role to deputise.
Oastler and Romone Rose have been given permission to play in the tie by their parent club QPR, with both players likely to keep their places in the Gulls starting line-up.
Chris Robertson could return after missing the trip to the Kassam Stadium through illness and Danny Kee could be given a start after scoring against Oxford.
Damon Lathrope will not be available for the game at Field Mill as he is still recovering from ankle ligament damage.
