Lincoln expect their signing of former Torquay winger Mustapha Carayol to go to a Football League tribunal according to Imps chairman Bob Dorrian. Carayol was out of contract at Plainmoor, but because he is under the age of 24 United will be entitled to compensation. Dorrian told BBC Lincolnshire: "I think Torquay have indicated they do want to go to a tribunal. "We have made Torquay an offer, but I don't think they are too impressed with it. So I think that will almost certainly go to a tribunal," Last week Gulls boss Paul Buckle confirmed his club intended to take Lincoln to a tribunal over the Carayol deal. "They've got a first-team player from us for nothing at the moment," he told the Herald Express. "We'll go to a tribunal if we have to, and that's what we're planning for. We think we have a good case."
