Gulls keen on adding Grit

Torquay are looking to secure the services of Chesterfield striker Martin Gritton for a second spell at the club. Gritton, 32, was at Plainmoor between 2002 and 2004 before moving to Grimsby - one of nine clubs on his CV - and Gulls boss Paul Buckle is eying a move for the player. "Martin is an experienced player who I think will benefit from joining us at this moment in his career," Buckle told the Herald Express. "He can also do a good job for us, because he is a different sort of player to the other strikers here. "He's good technically, he's mobile, a good finisher and he's decent in the air."
