Gulls Buck up

Torquay boss Paul Buckle refused to get too carried away after his side climbed into the top half of League Two with a 3-0 win at Barnet. The Gulls went ahead through a first career goal from Lathanial Rowe-Turner and late strikes from Billy Kee and Chris Zebroski wrapped up the win against a home side reduced to 10 men when Anthony Pulis sawr red after half an hour. "When a player gets sent off it really changes the game and I thought Barnet put up a good show but in the end we passed the ball really well and that was the key," said Buckle. "We had to keep patient, pass the ball and open Barnet up and in the end we ran out comfortable winners. Three goals and a clean sheet and a win is a great result. "Barnet matched us up and they had the momentum of being at home and we had to withstand the pressure at home. There were a few scares and we had to dig in - there wasn't a lot of space on the pitch but we've got the job done. "I only had 19 fit players and they didn't show their tiredness - they put in a good shift and we will move on. It's great to be in the top half but we're not getting carried away."
